About this Blog

On this blog, I’d like to share all the different projects that I work on, from quilts and sewing to crochet and crafts.  Mainly, I’d like to inspire, get inspired, share, and exchange great craft ideas.  I’ll share my finished projects, works in progress, even patterns and tutorials.  I would like to get to know the online community and make some crafty friends along the way.  (Will you be my friend?)

About Me

Hi, I’m Susie from Los Angeles!

I’m a single mom to a little 6-year old boy.  His name is Logan, but I call him Logi.  He’s my best friend and an awesome quilt model!

Quilting Blogs

He’s currently a first-grader and in school for 6 hours a day, which basically means I get 5 hours to run errands, grocery shop, cook, clean, edit photos, blog, quilt and sewefficiently.  It’s pretty awesome!  In addition to school, he’s enrolled in tennis, swimming, Thai language & classical music, Buddhism, art, and sword & stick fighting.  (I’m kind of a Tiger mom. 🐯)  While he’s in these classes, I take advantage of this time to work on my crochet projects.  Never a moment wasted!  It just feels like a sin to sit idly!

We are busy little bees but I always make time to take him out to see the world beyond home and school.  I have a separate Instagram for our travels (Instagram @susieledadom).  I hope you’ll follow us there too!  :)

Some more about us… we have two mischievous cats!  A brown tabby named “Mr. Poofs” and a Korat named “Tesla.”

They enjoy sleeping on my quilts as I’m trying to make them and stepping on my keyboard as I’m trying to blog about it.  They are good cats and they bring us so much happiness!  You can see more photos of them in my Daily Feed, where I frequently post about what these two sillies are up to.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know me.  I hope you give me a chance to get to know you too!  Feel free to leave comments on any of my posts or send a message!

Make it a beautiful day!

Susie 😊✨
