Tissue Paper Pom Poms Tutorial

Here’s an easy DIY tutorial to make tissue paper pom poms!

Materials Needed:
Tissue Paper
Ribbon
Scissors

Step 1:  Take 6 sheets of tissue paper (8″ x 12″ or 14″ x 18″) and fold lengthwise like an according.  Tie a knot in the middle with a ribbon to hold in place.  Round off each end by trimming.

Step 2:  Fan out the accordion and start separating the sheets on one side by gently pulling each individual sheet apart.  Repeat on the other side.

Once you’ve completed those two easy steps, you get this beauty here!

Alternatively, you can trim the tissue paper to have a pointy end instead of a rounded end.  The results are just as pretty.  It reminds me of a lotus blossom.

These pom-poms are really fun to make and you can never just make one!  Try experimenting with different sizes as well. They are so addictive!
